Area hiking trails are magnificent and beautifully maintained. To our delight we discovered a lush meadow with rare protected butterflies when we reached the top of Cascade Head. The views are incredible and a memory for a lifetime. |

Dotted along the coast, often within sight of the ocean, are pristine fresh water lakes that beckon fishermen, water skiers, swimmers and boaters. Devils Lake is only minutes from the Captain Cook Inn. |
